Here we have all of the prestige levels in Call of Duty Black ops. When you start the multiplayer game you begin at level 1. You then proceed to accumulate experience (XP) points by finishing matches, killing enemies, completing challenges and objectives and earning killstreaks. This continues until you reach level 50, and having earned the required xp to level up, you don’t, and instead remain at level 50. You now have two options, you can either stay at level 50 or you can prestige and start over. Starting over means that you will be level 1 again, and also, prestige 1. Unfortunately, when you prestige you lose all of your purchased weapons, perks, killstreaks, challenges (apart from lifetime challenges), CoD points, pretty much everything. The only things you keep are your purchased emblems and backgrounds, so I recommend buying as many of these as you can before you prestige. The upside to prestiging is that you will unlock another custom class on prestige 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. Below is a table of the 15 prestiges that are present in Black ops as well as what you unlock with each. (Note: The Wii has a different order).
